The sound, the fury, the excitement and that intoxicating aroma of steam are beautifully evoked in this wonderful painting of a ‘Battle Of Britain’ Pacific No.34051 ‘Winston Churchill’ roaring along the up main through Basingstoke in charge of an express for Waterloo. Since this painting was exhibited at the NRM (where, incidentally, 34051 now resides) in 2004 we have been inundated with requests for a print to be made available.
Hopefully this Limited Edition issue will satisfy that demand!
