A pair of British Rail Class 50s No’s 50014 ‘Warspite’ and 50011 ‘Centurion’, both sporting the ‘Large Logo’ livery, roar through Tiverton Junction station with a Paddington-Penzance express during the mid – 1980s. Both loco’s were built at the Vulcan Foundry in 1968 and withdrawn from service during 1987. Several of these machines are preserved with many of them in working order.
